When a high-net-worth family — often arriving from Greater China — decides to plant roots in Singapore. the name that circulates through their private networks is Aric Lim. A bilingual realtor with well over a decade in the business, I’ve built my reputation at the very top of the market.
My focus: Good Class Bungalows, freehold conservation shophouses, whole strata office floors, trophy penthouses and prime commercial portfolios. Today I’m a senior leader at Huttons Asia, heading my own team and serving ultra-high-net-worth clients for whom discretion, speed and certainty are everything.
My story didn’t begin in marble lobbies. I grew up in a four-room HDB flat, studied at River Valley High and RMIT, and co-founded a 3D animation company (Mediafreaks) in 2003 before real estate found me. Three days into my first listing I sold a condo for $$700,000 — a record at the time. Three years posted to Shenzhen made me the bridge between mainland buyers and Singapore’s luxury market.

2009 – 2018
From Jurong HDB to Prime Districts
Raised in a four-room flat. After RMIT, co-founded Mediafreaks. A client introduction led to a SS700K Palm Gardens sale in three days. By 2010, full-time at Huttons. Three years in Shenzhen built the bridge between mainland buyers and Singapore’s luxury market.

A clinic visit that became a legend.
One of my first major deals set a then-record: a Good Class Bungalow at the Chee Hoon enclave for $28 million. The owner was a doctor.
I showed up at his clinic — as a patient. I pitched my proposal across the consultation table and won the listing through sheer persistence. My commission ran into the hundreds of thousands. My hands were shaking as I held the Option to Purchase.
That blend of resourcefulness, relentlessness and genuine care has defined every chapter since.
